“For the longest time I wondered where I would go to college. The thought of having to decide where I wanted to go was overwhelming and I did not expect it to come so soon. I grew up in Nashville, TN and never even thought about UT as an option. I thought I had to go far away to gain the college experience I was looking for. UT provided me with countless opportunities throughout my four years. The School of Communication Studies invited me to learn and connect with my class, my university, and the world I would be entering very soon after. Being a part of Greek life, CMST club, RUF, and other on campus clubs gave me the chance to interact with a variety of students and faculty. I am beyond grateful for the freedom the School of Communication Studies has given me to explore. I’ve learned what it means to be a volunteer beyond UT and am excited to show others as well.”
