Student Spotlight-Grace Bosworth

February 6, 2020 by School of Communication Studies

Grace Bosworth is a Junior at the University, studying Communication Studies not only through the College of Communications. Grace studied abroad in Ireland through CMST and through an independent study with department head, Dr. Haas. Through the 2019 CMST study abroad Grace learned organizational skills through communication, immersed herself into the beautiful culture of Ireland, and learned the art of bog jumping! Grace’s independent study is performing public speaking techniques and examples to teach correct public speaking skills through electronic video examples. Grace is very active on campus. She serves as chapter president for her sorority, as well as serves on the recruitment committee of the University Ambassadors. Just a couple of weeks ago Grace and a few of her colleagues were asked to present at The Collegiate Information and Visitor Services Association in Albuquerque, New Mexico because of her involvement in the Ambassador Program. In addition, Grace will be joining the Communication Studies club as they head to Washington DC this weekend to meet industry leaders and alumni through networking events.
Want to learn more about Grace and our other amazing students, check out the CMST website and follow us on our social media!
